Is Zenote free to use?
Yes. Zenote is completely free with all core features - unlimited notes, folders, rich text editing, and Today's Note. No paywalls or hidden limits.
How is my data kept private?
Zenote uses Supabase with Row-Level Security (RLS). This means every database query is scoped to your user ID at the database level - not just the app level. Even if someone accessed the database directly, they could only see their own data.
Can I organize notes into folders?
Absolutely. Zenote supports up to 3 levels of nested folders (Folder > Subfolder > Sub-subfolder). You can color-code them, rename, delete, and move notes between folders with a click.
What is Today's Note?
Today's Note auto-creates a dated note for the current day. Click the 'Today's Note' button in the sidebar and it either opens today's existing note or creates a fresh one. Great for daily journals, standups, or quick logs.
Does Zenote work on mobile?
Yes. Zenote is a responsive web app that works beautifully on phones, tablets, and desktops. The mobile layout features a slide-in sidebar, touch-friendly editor toolbar, and smooth panel transitions.
Can I cancel or delete my account?
You can sign out anytime. For full account deletion, contact us and we will remove all your data permanently. We do not hold your data hostage.
